Graceful Pets is a small family owned and operated company and we are dedicated to paying it forward by donating Easy to Feed Pet Bowl sets as well as a percentage of our proceeds!
In May 2017, we hosted a private concert event at our barn in collaboration with the band Slopeside to raise awareness and funds to support Freedom Service dogs of America.
This wonderful nonprofit organization is located in Colorado and they provide service dogs for children, veterans and active duty military, and other adults. They rescue dogs and provide custom training based on the individual client needs or disabilities such as autism, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
We raised over $1,100 with the combined donations of friends, family and the owners of other Colorado companies like St. Nick’s Christmas and Collectibles, Creative Art by Renaee, Hampden Press, Hotels for Everyone and Light of Mine.
Over the summer Graceful Pets donated a set of Easy to Feed Pet Bowls to a very sweet veteran couple that are both permanently disabled after serving our country. They both experience difficulty with bending down to pick things up so hopefully our dog bowls will at least make one of their daily tasks easier.
We also purchased and gave away over a dozen of the If Only Humans Had Tails…And More Tales children’s books written by Vicki Medina and Corey Rose from 9News, with photography by Sean McNeil of Dogs of Denver.
All book proceeds benefit Freedom Service Dogs and it even featured some of their alumni!
Graceful Pets is one of the twelve special companies sponsoring the Maxfund 2018 calendars so that
100% of the purchase price can go to the animals in need at Maxfund, Denver's true no-kill animal shelter and adoption center!
In December we had the privilege of attending the Freedom Service Dogs graduation ceremony. We loved hearing all of the beautiful stories and it was an honor to be able to donate five of our Easy to Feed Pet Bowl sets for the client teams that will benefit due to some of their physical challenges. It truly makes us happy when Graceful Pets has the opportunity to be of service.
